The Pink Phenomena

.

Oh wow! This is my first time updating this blog after years of lying in stupor. Not that exactly,  since I became busy too with so many things I simply forgot all about writing. I didn't even know that I got booted out from iwriter, a writing platform where I was rated as premium writer. Now, I can't get in anymore!

So many things happened in the last several years which made me rethink of my priorities. We saw two deaths in the family, one after the other. My moms' and my sister, Maya. It was devastating for everybody since death is something that is hard to experience. We rethink of priorities, and had to sell some properties to help tide things over.

Their deaths came one after the other - 2018 and 2019. We were devastated but life has to go on. We managed to do the legalities of the properties, though until now, we still have to finished everything. This may go on till next year. The process is tedious and quite complex, but it is not something that we can't handle.

The pink cat represents all that is happening now. We are closing the year with the pink movement engulfing most Pinoys. Though this is rebutted by the Red/Green camps, I still feel that the pink movement will become stronger till D-day. It depends really on the campaign strategies of both camps, but the Pink group is a movement and like a running train, is unstoppable.

The new year starts in two hours and I can hear fireworks from where I sit. I am cooped up in a room with the aircon blasting so I don't smell the smoke from that blasted thing. The smoke gives me asthma and fainting spells!  Anyhow, the doggie and kitties are taking cover since these bombardments are also giving them heart attack. This will only take a couple of hours, so the suffering is short and sweet! By then, we all sleep like a baby!
